Brentwood Kindergarten is operated by a volunteer Committee of Management which consists of parents from within the Kinder community. The Committee meet on a monthly basis to discuss the needs of the Kinder, communicate with educators and plan for the future.
The Committee of Management is also responsible for the day-to-day running of the Kindergarten, ensuring it is well managed and able to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children. Committee responsibilities include the development of policies, management of finances, organising fundraising events, and employing staff.
Committee members are elected at the Kindergarten’s Annual General Meeting which is held each October. We encourage all parents and caregivers to play an active role in their child’s learning and consider volunteering for a Committee role. It’s a great way to help out the Kinder, meet new people, and foster positive relationships.
Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend all Committee meetings which are held throughout the year.
